Feathered Foothill Sales & Well-Wishes

This page celebrates Fell ponies developed at Feathered Foothill who have gone on to wonderful new homes. Each placement was made thoughtfully, with care for both pony and people, and it is a joy to continue following their journeys.

Greenholme Peggy — SOLD 2024

Peggy joined the Archer family in Ohio, who are beginning their own small Fell pony program. She turned four in May 2025 and was started to saddle and cart at a steady, age-appropriate pace. Peggy also participated in Equine Affaire in spring 2025, gaining valuable exposure and showcasing her calm temperament in a busy, high-traffic environment.

Congratulations to the Archer family — we look forward to watching Peggy’s continued progress.

Littletree Matador — SOLD 2024

Matador found a wonderful new home in Virginia, with a couple whose property backs onto wilderness and trail access—perfect for the kind of life he loves. He joins another Fell gelding as a future trail partner.

During his final year with Feathered Foothill, Matador:

  • Was my solo horse-camping companion (June 2024)

  • Was shown in-hand in the 2024 FPSNA Virtual Show, earning a nice ribbon

  • Previously competed in Ranch Riding and Mountain Trail at the Oregon Horse Center (2022)

He will be deeply missed, and we look forward to cheering him on in this next chapter.

Harrison Winter Skye — SOLD 2023

Skye began her new life in Mississippi in 2024, joining the Southmoore Fell Pony program with Kimberly Brink. We are excited to watch her mature and eventually see what she may contribute in the years ahead.

Felllegend Betony — SOLD 2022

Betony settled into a wonderful home in Southern Oregon, where she has become a dependable and much-loved partner. She enjoys clinics, ranch riding, obstacle work, and plenty of trail miles—serving as an excellent ambassador for the Fell pony breed in her region.

She is adored and beautifully cared for.

Featheredfoothill Fjola — SOLD 2022

Fjola is thriving in Kansas, growing up in a happy herd environment. She participated in the 2023 and 2024 FPSNA Virtual Shows (judged by an FPS-approved judge) before fully transitioning into her new life.

Each of these ponies represents a chapter of careful development, trust, and shared experience. Watching them succeed in their new homes is one of the greatest rewards of breeding, importing, and thoughtfully placing Fell ponies. Thank you to the owners who continue to honor and cherish these remarkable ponies — we are grateful to remain part of their stories.
