Background

Featheredfoothill Faith was imported in utero from England in late 2022 and foaled in Oregon in 2023. She is the daughter of:

  • Bybeck Victoria (dam)

  • The Reggae King (sire)

She strongly resembles her full sister Harrison Winter Skye, who now resides with Southmoore Fells in Mississippi as a future broodmare.

Faith has been retained at Feathered Foothill for her excellent conformation, grounded temperament, and natural trainability. I have personally trained Faith since she was three months old, developing her early through liberty, foundations, and obstacle work.

Training, Temperament & Early Development

Faith began liberty, groundwork, and obstacle basics at a young age and has shown a consistently calm, willing, and clever mind.

Her early training milestones include:

  • Outdoor Mountain Trail experience at the Oregon Horse Center (Summer 2025)

  • First Mountain Trail clinics hosted by Oregon Horse Center (Fall 2025)

  • First official in-hand show at the OHC Mountain Trail “Greenie” Show

At the Greenie show, she placed 2nd in the Costume Class, appearing as a Musk Ox, with her handler dressed as a woman of the Ice Age—an imaginative debut that highlighted her steadiness and charm.

Faith continues to develop into a thoughtful, athletic young Fell with an excellent work ethic.

FPSNA Virtual Show – Fall 2025
Faith placed 2nd in her class, earning:

“Super limbs.
Good depth through girth.
Uses hocks very well.”

These comments point to her correctness, depth, and developing athletic ability.

Liberty Horse UK – Fall 2025
Faith debuted in her first Liberty Horse UK virtual show submission in Fall 2025, marking her entry onto an international liberty platform and showcasing her early foundations in connection-based work.

Looking Ahead

Faith’s future development includes:

  • Liberty

  • R+ foundation work

  • Continued Mountain Trail in-hand training

  • Beginning under-saddle training when mature

  • Consideration as a future broodmare

Her heritage, temperament, and early achievements position her to become an exceptional performance pony and a meaningful addition to the Feathered Foothill breeding program.
